"Yeesh, even large brands like Nike and the Golden State Warriors are getting this wrong. No wonder companies and small businesses can't keep up"
Kenny Hoang, September 3, 2018
Companies can’t keep up. That’s what I’ve been thinking about this past year.
Growing up as a kid, I remember in 2007 my mom opened up a Hair Salon. As an immigrant family without much, my mom scrapped her way to open up that salon.
I was only a freshman then in high school and I would help move her boxes of hair dye, and move around the furniture.
However we all know what happened in 2007. That recession hit hard.
My mom had to close up shop.
I didn’t realize it then but in retrospect my mom endured the toughest of storms as a single mom. She worked countless hours where my brother and I didn’t see her much. But she always kept a level-head, we would have never known.
The number one reason she had to shut it down was because of a lack of paying clients.
Fast forward to today, the same rules apply.
I interact with business owners on a daily basis and it breaks my heart when I see folks struggle because of marketing challenges.
Unlike 2007 when my mom closed down, today we’re in the Social Media Age and Facebook’s a teenager.
With 2 billion users on Facebook, multi-channel marketing is the way for business growth. The tragedy is even the biggest and most successful companies are burning their money by not implementing a few fundamental principles that make up multi-channel marketing.
To name a few, getting proper tracking in place, sequencing their content out, utilizing tools like look-a-like audiences to let Facebook’s algorithm do the hard work for you.
I remember checking out a Facebook ad accounts one time for a large firm and they had ads vastly over-spending thousands of dollars that was getting poured into the gutter. Poof, just being wasted.
But they didn’t know what they didn’t know.
I realized that if even large brands like Nike and the Golden State Warriors are getting this wrong. No wonder companies and small businesses can’t keep up.
I don’t want this to happen to you.
When we saw these companies pour out their money, you bet we fixed it. At BlitzMetrics, one of the achievements I love to bring up is how we helped the Warriors get a 29x return on their ad spend.
It was such a success that at one point one of their executives asked to check the numbers again thinking it was an error.
I want to share with you the very fundamental frameworks that we’ve used to accomplish this for companies like the Warriors and countless others like MGM, TiVo, Ashley Furniture.
By at least being aware of this material, you can open your understanding on what’s possible and impact the quality of your business and the quality of your life.

Where 99.9% of companies aren’t following the basics, you’ll be light years ahead.
Spend more money. That’s what conventional wisdom says when it comes to getting more exposure.
That you need to hire a PR firm and spend $30,000 a month for a 6 month retainer if you ever want your personal brand or company in the limelight. Not anymore you don’t….
